Due to consistent growth and an exciting workload, we are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. The candidate will become part of a friendly and dynamic team with a growing reputation in the industry for the quality of our services.

This role is for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years practical experience, with strong people skills to accommodate the variation of professionals they will interact with and a good technical understanding and strong design flair.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work on Projects around the UK
  • Work with team members to tight timescales
  • Deliver feasibility drawing packages, planning application drawing packages
  • Manage workload of several projects
  • Will have face to face discussions with builders, clients, and other professionals

Specific Responsibilities and Activities within your role

  • At least 1 year in placement at Part 1 level, recent experience is preferable but not mandatory
  • Strong conceptual design and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and design ability
  • Experience in preparing planning application submissions within the UK
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT are essential, along with relevant rendering packages
  • Able to work within a busy team and at times unsupervised
  • Experience in the residential sector preferred, but not essential
  • Current, clean driving license
