Time has truly flown since I joined France+Associates! Over the past two years, I have had the incredible opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, learning so much from my colleagues along the way. 

Although I am still learning every day, it is lovely to look back at how far I have come and how much more I can contribute to the team now.  

My role within the design team has evolved from office-based design work to visiting clients, site visits and assisting in the running of projects. I have grown in confidence, knowledge of our field and have been able to register as an Associate member with CIAT. 

What has been the most rewarding part of working at F+A? 

It is lovely to see the smiles on the faces of our clients at the point of project handover. It brings me the same amount of joy to see the impact of our work and note how much easier their lives will be.  

It is wonderful to know I played a part in helping our clientsto have a better quality of life in a home that is designed to last a lifetime. This I find truly rewarding. 

What’s a memorable moment over the last two years? 

The team building away days have always proved memorable and helped to bring us together as a team.  

Looking ahead, what excites you about the future with F+A? 

2025 is looking busy but bright!  

I’ll be undertaking a three-day training course in a 3D design software that will help streamline our design process whilst helping clients and users to have a more visual understanding of their future home and how it will work for them.  

I will also be starting the journey to become a chartered member of the CIAT as well as arranging and undertaking fortnightly training sessions with our team.
