F+A are pleased to announce the promotion of Amy Hines MCIAT AssocRICS, who will manage the Design Team with immediate effect.
Amy joined the firm in July 2019 and has been part of the journey that has seen the firm grow from a team of 8 to the 16 members of staff today.
The design team manages all instructions in relation to property surveys and investigations, drawing proposals for suitability reports, cost reports, planning and building regulation consent, as well as seeking quotations from builders and managing the construction works onsite.
Jonathan France, Managing Director of F+A had this to say:
“Amy has been enjoying the role for a number of months to carefully manage the resources of the team and ensuring that all instructions have a main point of contact. At F+A, we consider resourcing instructions to be one of the most important factors to managing design and construction projects. Clients who have suffered injuries will have a “go-to” person to rely on for their surveying and architectural needs and our colleagues feel fully supported and can maintain a high quality of service. Client care and a high level of service have always been at the forefront of F+A and this promotion ensures that this continues to be the case.”
Amy will now act in the role of “Design Team Coordinator” and will manage all design team enquiries and introduce new clients to their assigned Design Team member.
The team is supported by Karen McGourty ACIAT, Matthew Carter MCIAT, Anya Brockbank ACIAT, Becky Kamhuka and Nick Turnbull from F+A’s head office in Huddersfield. The firm now has a number of associates in England, Wales and Scotland to continue to manage projects on a national basis. The team is supported by Rob Hardy, who continues to manage F+A’s landscape related projects, such as sensory gardens, throughout the UK.
