We are thrilled to announce that our project, The New Coach House in Wakefield, has been named a finalist in the prestigious Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) Architectural Technologist (AT) Awards 2024.

The ‘Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology’ is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and expertise that our team at France+Associates has poured into this project, and we couldn’t be prouder.

The New Coach House is a home that reflects our commitment to creating accessible, inclusive, and sustainable spaces tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Designed for a young adult with cerebral palsy, this project incorporates advanced architectural technology, state-of-the-art home automation, and thoughtful design to enhance accessibility, independence, and quality of life

From the installation of a custom-built hydrotherapy pool to the integration of assistive technology, every detail of this project was meticulously created to ensure the home not only meets but exceeds the specific needs of its occupants. The result is a living space that supports both independence and comfort while maintaining the warmth of a family home.

Being shortlisted for this award is a significant achievement, and it underscores the importance of architectural technology in improving lives through innovative design solutions.
