The brief was to improve an existing property in Huddersfield and make it the perfect 'forever home' for a client in Huddersfield.
The project includes plans to extend the home on the ground and first floor to improve living requirements. An open plan kitchen will boast spectacular views over the valley and the property will also benefit from a garage and a swimming pool, as well as an indoor and outdoor entertainment space.
The proposed extension will reflect the heritage of the original dwelling as a former vicarage, with timber sash windows installed on the main dwelling and use of natural Yorkshire stone and oak to compliment the original building façade.
The proposed garage and private leisure building is designed to reflect the host dwelling with a palate of materials of natural Yorkshire stone, blue slate roof, crittal windows and doors, along with stone features.
The purpose of both the extension and the entertainment space was to establish a relationship between the garden and the host dwelling and make best use of its south facing aspect and long distance views.
We have used 3D architectural visualisation to provide a realistic representation of how a property will look once the build is complete.
